I am an AI engineer and product builder. I work on agent design, evaluation, product engineering, and the systems teams use to ship AI. At DxO Labs, I lead the AI Acceleration Team. Outside DxO, I co-founded DailySurf and lead product engineering. Previously, I studied mathematics and machine learning at École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay and worked in remote sensing at Kayrros, CNRS, Inria, and LSCE.

Experience

2023–present

AI Consultant · Head of AI Acceleration Team

DxO Labs · Paris

Joined DxO as an AI consultant in 2023 and became Head of the AI Acceleration Team in 2025 as AI work expanded from early proofs of concept into a dedicated team and production projects.

Silver AI · Agentic image editing for Nik Silver Efex

  • Built the first working proof of concept in two months with a senior application engineer: he exposed the application API, we co-designed the MCP interface, and I engineered the agent harness on an existing SDK, designing its prompts and tool schemas.
  • Created and now lead the cross-functional team responsible for research, evaluation and benchmark design, application integration, and productization. I supervise the work and contribute directly to research and engineering ahead of a planned research preview.

Other AI acceleration work

  • Led George, a production AI assistant used mainly by Consumer Support agents for complex, highly technical tickets. It connects those agents to DxO’s public and internal documentation to help them draft grounded replies.
  • Led a reusable localization workflow for DxO’s new website and marketing assets, preserving page structure and product terminology across French, German, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese, with glossary lookup and native-speaker review.
  • Built a multilingual video-localization pipeline for product tutorials, from transcription and translation through native-speaker review and handoff to synthesized voice tracks.
  • Advise teams across DxO on new AI-first workflows, including stack, architecture, and technology choices.
  • Built an AI development workflow with Linear combining human decisions, coding agents, automated gates, CI, and review. It is now used for a new R&D project and by Information Security and Marketing.
2026–present

Co-founder, CTO and product engineer

DailySurf

Lead product engineering for an iOS surf app currently in beta with 250 testers.

  • Built the app with TypeScript, React Native, Expo, and Supabase.
  • Partner with co-founder Thibaut de Gueyer and beta testers to iterate on the product and identify where DailySurf is most useful to surfers.
2022–2025

Former PhD candidate

CNRS · Inria · LSCE

Researched how to detect, segment, and classify forest disturbances from satellite imagery. Developed a graph-based framework that combined several geospatial datasets to localise events in space and time, and studied phenology to distinguish normal seasonal variation from forest change. The programme ended before completion.

Apr–Oct 2022

Machine-learning research intern

Kayrros

Developed and evaluated a compact 1.6-million-parameter U-Net for land-cover segmentation, compared with alternatives around 20 million parameters. The work focused on stability across dates, seasons, and biomes and reached production use in two biomass studies.

Education

2018–2022

École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay

Mathematics and machine learning

Normalien; M2 Mathematics, Vision, Learning (MVA), with an interface year at Mines Paris – PSL in engineering sciences. Prix de l’interdisciplinarité 2023.
