Show the Artifact, Not the Receipts

When a slow AI loop hands work back for human approval, the review surface should lead with the draft, not the operational summary.

A small follow-up to the idea of splitting AI memory into a live retrieval loop and a slower synthesis loop: the surface where a human reviews the slow loop’s output matters as much as the loop itself.

The first version of mine showed everything. Build output, file lists, status, a structured summary of what had changed. It looked thorough. It also made me read three layers of meta before I reached the draft I was supposed to approve.

The fix was small. The review surface now shows the title and a short excerpt of the proposed text first; the operational chrome moves to the back. Approving or skipping is a glance, not a checklist.

If you defer to a human, hand them the artifact. The receipts can wait.
